Play is a Meta Intelligence   by        James Findlay   Social Educator

Here is a look at how play has the ability, the Intelligence to move beyond the various models defined as Intelligences. 

What appears to be presented below as so obvious is in fact new in for work on Intelligence, and it compliments the work of Howard Gardner

Greetings and thanks for your letter and attachments.  I am very pleased that you are pursuing these ideas, and hope that you gain additional support.  I don’t believe that play is an intelligence in my sense of the word, but I fully support your emphasis on play, as a kind of ‘meta’ approach and ability.
